

His new restaurant and music venue, The Jones Assembly restaurant and music venue is one of Oklahoma City’s most ambitious real estate projects and plans to open this summer.Ĭlay Cockrill joined Manhattan Construction as the company’s Oklahoma City area office project director.Ĭockrill is responsible for delivering a seamless, high-quality client experience from a project’s inception through delivery, and maintaining lasting, positive client and community relationships as a trusted construction advisor.Ĭockrill has 20 years of construction industry experience including MAPS and MAPS for Kids, commercial building, higher education and aviation project types. He was instrumental in curating and assisting in the Exchange on Film Row, Peace Love and Goodwill, and Heard on Hurd festivals. His local charitable efforts are well known serving on the boards of Oklahoma Aids Care Fund and Allied Arts as well as serving as an Oklahoma Creativity ambassador.

He has settled in OKC with his wife Betsy and his two children Gray and Colette.

His songs have been featured on numerous TV shows and national commercials and he has gone on to open Lunar Manor recording studio in OKC. He was eventually signed to Universal Records and had his first hit song with ‘Best Days’ which he performed on TV shows like Ellen, The Late show with David Letterman, The Tonight show with Jay Leno, The Today show, and others. What started as a string of tour dates kicked off 4 years of non-stop touring with multiple artists including Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Needtobreathe, and Jason Mraz. Graham and his new band were asked to Join the Crows on their 2002 Hard Candy Tour across the country. During his Freshmen year attending Southern methodist University in Dallas, his songs found their way into the hands of several record companies and well known bands including Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows. He began writing and performing songs while in high school at local restaurants and coffee shops in the Paseo Arts District and around Oklahoma City. He was an all-state quarterback on the state championship team in 1998 along side best friend Wes Welker. Graham Colton was born in Oklahoma City and was a lifer at Heritage Hall school.
